Where Is Clothing Sourced From?

We source our clothing from various Swiss suppliers and recycling centers to find the highest-quality items suitable for recirculation and continued wear.

What do you do with items that can’t be recirculated?

As part of our mission is to reduce the textile waste we’re experiencing today, we do our best to reuse all our materials that are not fit enough for recirculation and we are working on repurposing them into blankets which will be redistributed to local homeless shelters.

We also are working on giving our scraps to certified recycling centres that we can ensure will clean and reintegrate them back into the commercial textile industry.

What is Loopidou's Purpose, and How Does it Benefit You?

Loopidou's mission is to drive a much-needed cultural shift in how we view secondhand and pre-loved fashion—not just as a statement, but as a way to break free from high street brands' manipulation and reclaim our sense of worth.

In some ways, the most meaningful outcome Loopidou is working towards in this cultural shift. That inner understanding that new doesn’t necessarily hold the highest sense of value. But in order for that to happen, Loopidou does need to become one of the primary preferences for family households in the Switzerland.

Our most practical goal is to prevent textiles from ending up in dumps where they would be crushed, buried, burned, or shipped off the continent.

We aim to keep our clothing in circulation as long as possible through thorough cleaning and restoration practices, along with adequate repairs done in house.
